The Eclissi Short Gold necklace is a chain made of rings that are all interrupted. Each ring is a soft rubber tube closed by a section of gold-plated brass: the material changes at a precise point, always the same one, and from there the circumference resumes.
The name comes from the shadow that passes in front of the light, a foreseen passage that lasts as long as it needs to last, and then ends.
In the short version the chain stops at the base of the neck, at 52 centimetres, and fastens with a gold-plated silver snap clasp: a single gesture, and it does not reopen on its own. At 20 grams it stays comfortable even when worn all day.
The point that fastens breaks nothing: it holds. It is a discreet sign that reminds you of a choice already made, your own, every day.

Rubber

Soft and light, with shape memory: with a little care it stays as it was on the first day.

How to wear it. Keep it away from alcohol, acetone and solvents, and from strong heat. Many hours of direct sun will dull the colour over time.
How to clean it. A cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a drop of neutral soap, then dry it straight away. If it looks dull over time, it is the skin's natural oils: wipe it with a degreaser, then dry it with a soft cloth.
How to store it. Lay it flat or loosely coiled, never tightly folded, away from radiators and sunny windows.

Gold-plated brass

A thin layer of gold on brass: it stays warm and bright with a dry cloth and a little care.

How to wear it. Perfume, creams, chlorine and sea water darken and wear away the gold plating: put it on last and take it off before the pool and the sea.
How to clean it. A soft, dry cloth, ideally microfibre. No silver cleaners, polishing pastes or sponges: they remove the gold plating.
How to store it. In its box, away from other jewellery: gold is soft and scratches easily.

How to wear it. Put it on last, after creams, perfume and hairspray. Take it off before showering, swimming in the sea or pool, exercising and going to bed.
How to clean it. When you take it off, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth: a few seconds are enough.
How to store it. Keep it in its box, in a dry drawer, away from your other jewellery. The bathroom, with its steam, is the least suitable place.

It fastens with a spring ring and stays put. The rings rest on the neck and draw an irregular sequence, leaving room for the skin. The rubber is soft to the touch; the gold-plated brass appears here and there and catches the light discreetly. On a bare shoulder it is enough on its own. A light presence that gets noticed without imposing itself.

The material, up close.

What matters most about rubber is its matt quality. It absorbs light and, by contrast, lets the stroke of metal running through each ring emerge. Between the two materials the break is clean. Soft and light — 52 centimetres long and 20 grams — the rubber follows the form and helps the necklace stay in place.

The brass works by contrast: it is rigid, defines the ring and holds its profile. The gold finish introduces a warm light that appears only in places. Softness and structure, matt and bright, alternate within the same design.

The snap clasp, in gold-plated silver, completes the necklace with a simple, precise gesture. It clicks firmly into place and keeps the necklace secure once worn.
