The Dea necklace is born from a succession of segments. Straight lengths of steel spring alternate with small rhodium-plated brass cubes, until they form a single strand. Each segment ends in a cube and the next sets off again at a different tilt: that is where the angle is born.
The flexibility of the springs lets the design change on the body. Worn long, the necklace stretches out and the angles open; wrapped several times, the lines draw closer and the sign becomes more decisive. At 220 centimetres and just 25 grams, there are many ways to wear it.
The name Dea recalls the ability to set a point and, from there, choose another direction. The spring allows movement, the cube defines the transition. The clasp is a resin magnetic bead, easy to fasten even on your own. Dea is handmade in Italy.

Stainless steel

Strong and stable, it asks for very little: water, soap and a soft cloth.

  • How to wear it. Springs and spirals can catch in hair and loose-knit jumpers: put it on and take it off calmly. Open spring steel only as much as you need to put it on.
  • How to clean it. Lukewarm water and neutral soap, then dry with a soft cloth. On gold-coloured parts, only a dry cloth.
  • How to store it. In its box, away from other jewellery. Springs keep their shape best when nothing presses on them.

For all jewellery

  • How to wear it. Put it on last, after creams, perfume and hairspray. Take it off before showering, swimming in the sea or pool, exercising and going to bed.
  • How to clean it. When you take it off, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth: a few seconds are enough.
  • How to store it. Keep it in its box, in a dry drawer, away from your other jewellery. The bathroom, with its steam, is the least suitable place.

With you every day

Dea changes a great deal depending on how you wear it. Wrapped several times, the lines overlap and the corners become more visible. Worn long, they stretch out on the body and the design becomes lighter. The springs follow the movement without tangling, so you can put it on, take it off and store it easily. The small rhodium-plated cubes catch the light one at a time, like points along a line. On black they stand out; on white they become more discreet. Everything else can stay simple.

The material, up close.

The rhodium-plated brass of the Dea necklace is compact and bright: 220 centimetres long, 25 grams. The rhodium plating protects the surface and gives it a clear, brilliant finish. In the small cubes the light concentrates in sharp points, marking the rhythm of the necklace’s design.

The spring steel is worked into a fine, tight spiral. Flexible and elastic, it bends to follow the movement of the body and naturally regains its shape, without weighing the necklace down.

It is precisely the meeting of the two materials that builds Dea: the spring flexes, the cube marks the point where the direction changes. The angles open and close with movement, letting the design change every time the necklace settles on the body.
