Line III jewellery: open curves and elasticity

Line III brings together the Ellesanti pieces built on tension: open-arc necklaces, spiral bracelets, C-shaped earrings, curves held taut between two ends and volumes that expand from the centre. It is the only family in the catalogue in which the form works while you wear it: it flexes as you put it on and returns to its position, because the metal keeps a memory of the curve. You will find satin-finish 925 silver, spring steel and selected materials, worked by hand in our atelier in Italy, one piece at a time and only after you order. The gap left open is calibrated, not accidental: it is the part of the design that takes the most testing. The materials are clearly stated and nickel-free. The line does not depend on the type of piece: a bracelet and a pair of earrings from Line III follow the same construction. In terms of meaning, the curve in tension is the one Ellesanti associates with the moment of opening up to a new freedom.
