The Polaris necklace is born from a single spring steel wire covered in rubber. The line follows the neck lightly, punctuated by small rhodium-plated brass cubes that create points of light.

The spring steel allows the necklace to open with one gesture and naturally return to its curve. It needs no clasp and keeps its shape as you move. The rubber offers a soft surface that is pleasant on the skin. It is available in several colours, matt or metallic.

Light and versatile — 12 centimetres in diameter at just 18 grams — Polaris accompanies everyday occasions and more elegant moments. It pairs easily with a shirt, a pared-back dress or a casual knit.

The ability to open and find its balance again expresses the meaning of Polaris: exploring new possibilities while staying true to your own centre. Designed and handmade in the Ellesanti Space in Padua.

Rubber

Soft and light, with shape memory: with a little care it stays as it was on the first day.

How to wear it. Keep it away from alcohol, acetone and solvents, and from strong heat. Many hours of direct sun will dull the colour over time.
How to clean it. A cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a drop of neutral soap, then dry it straight away. If it looks dull over time, it is the skin's natural oils: wipe it with a degreaser, then dry it with a soft cloth.
How to store it. Lay it flat or loosely coiled, never tightly folded, away from radiators and sunny windows.

Stainless steel

Strong and stable, it asks for very little: water, soap and a soft cloth.

How to wear it. Springs and spirals can catch in hair and loose-knit jumpers: put it on and take it off calmly. Open spring steel only as much as you need to put it on.
How to clean it. Lukewarm water and neutral soap, then dry with a soft cloth. On gold-coloured parts, only a dry cloth.
How to store it. In its box, away from other jewellery. Springs keep their shape best when nothing presses on them.

Rhodium-plated brass

A thin layer of rhodium protects the brass and keeps it bright: clean it only when dry.

How to wear it. Perfume, sweat, chlorine and sea water wear away the rhodium plating: put it on after perfume and take it off before the pool, the sea and the gym.
How to clean it. A soft, dry cloth, ideally microfibre. No silver cleaners, polishing pastes or sponges: they remove the rhodium plating.
How to store it. In its box, away from other jewellery: metals scratch each other.

For all jewellery

How to wear it. Put it on last, after creams, perfume and hairspray. Take it off before showering, swimming in the sea or pool, exercising and going to bed.
How to clean it. When you take it off, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth: a few seconds are enough.
How to store it. Keep it in its box, in a dry drawer, away from your other jewellery. The bathroom, with its steam, is the least suitable place.

The material, up close.

The Polaris necklace takes shape from a harmonious combination of rubber, steel and rhodium-plated brass: 12 centimetres in diameter, 18 grams. The rubber provides the flexible, soft base, essential to the curved, adaptable line of the piece, which rests gently on the skin.

The small elements dotting the rubber are in steel, chosen for their strength and their ability to keep their finish over time. The spring steel structure opens with a gesture: no clasp to fasten.

The rhodium-plated brass, applied to some metal parts, gives a subtle luminosity that resists oxidation, ensuring that Polaris keeps its discreet elegance every day. These materials work together to give the piece its elastic structure and its defined presence.
