The Due a Due Gold necklace is built on a single rule: the materials come in pairs and never mix. Two strands run parallel and cross at regular intervals, forming a sequence of rhombuses. In each one, the gold-plated brass faces the rubber: one rigid and luminous, the other soft and matt. The metal stops exactly where the rubber begins, keeping the distinction between the two visible.
The empty space is part of the design too: it keeps the form open and lets the light through. There are no visible joins and no clasps to fasten. The geometry continues unbroken, without showing where it begins or ends.
Worn long or wrapped several times — 110 centimetres and 38 grams — the design stretches out or becomes denser.

  • Material: Rubber and gilt brass

Rubber

Soft and light, with shape memory: with a little care it stays as it was on the first day.

  • How to wear it. Keep it away from alcohol, acetone and solvents, and from strong heat. Many hours of direct sun will dull the colour over time.
  • How to clean it. A cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a drop of neutral soap, then dry it straight away. If it looks dull over time, it is the skin's natural oils: wipe it with a degreaser, then dry it with a soft cloth.
  • How to store it. Lay it flat or loosely coiled, never tightly folded, away from radiators and sunny windows.

For all jewellery

  • How to wear it. Put it on last, after creams, perfume and hairspray. Take it off before showering, swimming in the sea or pool, exercising and going to bed.
  • How to clean it. When you take it off, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth: a few seconds are enough.
  • How to store it. Keep it in its box, in a dry drawer, away from your other jewellery. The bathroom, with its steam, is the least suitable place.

With you every day

It slips on over the head. Long, worn as two strands on the neckline. The rubber holds the necklace in place. It does not slide. The metal catches the light. The rubber softens it. It stays.

The material, up close.

Brass and rubber remain distinct even to the touch: 110 centimetres long, 38 grams. The brass is rigid and cool, the rubber soft and matt. Its natural grip on the skin helps the necklace hold the position in which it is worn.

The transition between the two materials can be felt under the fingers: a clean boundary that makes physical the very rule on which the piece is built. The lightness of the rubber balances the presence of the brass, giving structure without weighing it down.

Two materials with opposite qualities thus work together: one gives light and defines the sign, the other gives flexibility and follows the body.
