The Luce Long necklace begins with a continuous line of rubber, from which finer strands branch out, free to follow different directions. At the ends, small rhodium-plated brass cubes interrupt the softness of the line with sharp, luminous points.
The construction alternates flexibility and precision, opacity and light. The branches change distance and position, move with the body and continually alter the design, without losing the balance of the form. Nothing follows a rigid sequence: it is movement that determines a different arrangement each time.
Worn long or wrapped twice — 110 centimetres and just 32 grams — Luce changes proportion, rhythm and configuration. The rubber remains discreet, while the metal emerges here and there and gives back the light at precise points. An essential piece of jewellery, in which freedom and measure find balance in the same form.

Rubber

Soft and light, with shape memory: with a little care it stays as it was on the first day.

How to wear it. Keep it away from alcohol, acetone and solvents, and from strong heat. Many hours of direct sun will dull the colour over time.
How to clean it. A cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a drop of neutral soap, then dry it straight away. If it looks dull over time, it is the skin's natural oils: wipe it with a degreaser, then dry it with a soft cloth.
How to store it. Lay it flat or loosely coiled, never tightly folded, away from radiators and sunny windows.

Rhodium-plated brass

A thin layer of rhodium protects the brass and keeps it bright: clean it only when dry.

How to wear it. Perfume, sweat, chlorine and sea water wear away the rhodium plating: put it on after perfume and take it off before the pool, the sea and the gym.
How to clean it. A soft, dry cloth, ideally microfibre. No silver cleaners, polishing pastes or sponges: they remove the rhodium plating.
How to store it. In its box, away from other jewellery: metals scratch each other.

How to wear it. Put it on last, after creams, perfume and hairspray. Take it off before showering, swimming in the sea or pool, exercising and going to bed.
How to clean it. When you take it off, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth: a few seconds are enough.
How to store it. Keep it in its box, in a dry drawer, away from your other jewellery. The bathroom, with its steam, is the least suitable place.

The rubber rests softly on the skin and follows your movement. You can wear Luce long or wrapped twice, changing its proportion and arrangement. The fine threads move freely, while the rhodium-plated brass cubes catch the light at different points. With a shirt, a dress or a simple knit, the necklace keeps its presence. Through the day the branches shift position: the design moves and each time finds a slightly different balance.

The material, up close.

The rubber of the Luce Long necklace is soft, flexible and matt: 110 centimetres long, 32 grams. It follows the body naturally and keeps a continuous line, full in colour and discreet in the light. Its elasticity gives the thinner strands freedom of movement, while preserving their design.

The rhodium-plated brass introduces an opposite quality: it is compact, smooth and bright. In the small cubes the light concentrates on clean surfaces and appears at intervals along the necklace.

The contrast between the two materials defines Luce. The rubber absorbs the light, the metal returns it. One traces the line, the other marks its points. Softness and precision coexist in the same form.
