The Ross 1 necklace is born from interlacing. Small rubber elements link to one another and build an open weave. Each element remains recognisable, but it is the relationship with the others that gives the pendant its form.
Between one element and the next, an empty space remains. The structure breathes and keeps every connection visible. It is from this alternation of material and space that the design emerges.
A long 85-centimetre rubber cord holds the pendant and lets the necklace fall freely on the body. The matt material keeps the mark clean without weighing it down: 35 grams in all.
Ross 1 translates a simple principle into form: we can be bound to others while remaining distinct. A necklace to recognise the value of relationships without giving up your own space.

Rubber

Soft and light, with shape memory: with a little care it stays as it was on the first day.

How to wear it. Keep it away from alcohol, acetone and solvents, and from strong heat. Many hours of direct sun will dull the colour over time.
How to clean it. A cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a drop of neutral soap, then dry it straight away. If it looks dull over time, it is the skin's natural oils: wipe it with a degreaser, then dry it with a soft cloth.
How to store it. Lay it flat or loosely coiled, never tightly folded, away from radiators and sunny windows.

How to wear it. Put it on last, after creams, perfume and hairspray. Take it off before showering, swimming in the sea or pool, exercising and going to bed.
How to clean it. When you take it off, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth: a few seconds are enough.
How to store it. Keep it in its box, in a dry drawer, away from your other jewellery. The bathroom, with its steam, is the least suitable place.

The material, up close.

Ross 1 is made of rubber, chosen both for the long 85-centimetre cord and for the elements of the pendant, for 35 grams in total.

The matt surface absorbs the light and brings out the design of the weave. Its flexibility allows the small elements to connect while each keeps its own form.

Rubber makes even a visually substantial pendant light. The material follows the body softly and allows the structure to move naturally.
