The Caurì Long necklace does not stop at the neck. Several strands of copper mesh modules, shaped by hand like the shell that gives the piece its name, run parallel along the whole length and brush against one another, coming together in a single element.
The copper is woven like a yarn and then silver-plated or coloured: it remains metal, but behaves like fabric, and a necklace of this length does not weigh on the shoulders — 110 centimetres at just 50 grams.
It can be worn long at its full length or doubled around the neck: two different pieces in a single moment. The clasp is magnetic, in steel: the two ends find each other on their own.
On their own, these shells counted for nothing. In a row, they never end. Wear it every day and remember the strength of your choices. An essential form, a sign of freedom.

Copper fabric

Metal threads woven like a fabric: light, pliable, it holds its shape on its own.

How to wear it. Keep it away from water, perfume and creams: wet copper darkens. If it gets squashed, reshape it gently with your fingers, without pulling single threads.
How to clean it. For dust, a soft, dry brush. No water or detergents.
How to store it. Laid in its box, with nothing on top and away from other jewellery: the threads can catch.

How to wear it. Put it on last, after creams, perfume and hairspray. Take it off before showering, swimming in the sea or pool, exercising and going to bed.
How to clean it. When you take it off, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth: a few seconds are enough.
How to store it. Keep it in its box, in a dry drawer, away from your other jewellery. The bathroom, with its steam, is the least suitable place.

The material, up close.

In the woven copper of the Caurì Long necklace, lightness and luminosity are what matter: 110 centimetres long, 50 grams. Each cowrie is an element tied to the next by a manual gesture.

A pliant metal, it holds its form without internal support. The fabric compresses and regains its shape. The strands settle with every movement. The surface, silvered or coloured, reflects light in touches rather than in a single gleam. The piece is noticed without shining.

The magnetic clasp is in steel, the only cold point, and closes by itself.
