The Block 2 necklace is built, not drawn. There is only one module — a small cube of matt rubber — repeated dozens of times and threaded onto a thin rubber thread, until it forms two open circles: a small one at the top, a larger one below.
The cubes stand on edge, at alternating angles, and the outer rim becomes a serrated crown. There is no frame, no soldering: that thin thread is the whole structure, and it is enough to hold the circle open on the chest.
The cord that carries it is smooth and leaves room for the pendant; the clasp is a steel pin, the only part that is not rubber. At 85 centimetres long and 33 grams, it stays light for the volume it occupies.
No sparkle: the matt finish gives back only the design. A form that holds itself up, without having needed anything precious.

Rubber

Soft and light, with shape memory: with a little care it stays as it was on the first day.

How to wear it. Keep it away from alcohol, acetone and solvents, and from strong heat. Many hours of direct sun will dull the colour over time.
How to clean it. A cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a drop of neutral soap, then dry it straight away. If it looks dull over time, it is the skin's natural oils: wipe it with a degreaser, then dry it with a soft cloth.
How to store it. Lay it flat or loosely coiled, never tightly folded, away from radiators and sunny windows.

How to wear it. Put it on last, after creams, perfume and hairspray. Take it off before showering, swimming in the sea or pool, exercising and going to bed.
How to clean it. When you take it off, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth: a few seconds are enough.
How to store it. Keep it in its box, in a dry drawer, away from your other jewellery. The bathroom, with its steam, is the least suitable place.

The material, up close.

The rubber of the Block 2 necklace is soft to the touch: 85 centimetres long, 33 grams. It is matt to the eye and absorbs light, giving the pendant clean definition. The cubes are cut and pierced with precision. The fine rubber thread shapes the form, keeping it open thanks to its elasticity. The everyday gesture of wearing it reveals its essence.

The suspension cord is smooth and thicker, a visual and tactile contrast. The exception is the pin, in steel, an essential detail. Its presence is an anchor.

Each element contributes to the overall form, a balance between softness and structure. An object that reveals itself through gesture and use.
