The Afrika+ necklace carries the ancient gesture of adornment, transforming it into a contemporary form.
A multitude of rubber strands run side by side along 50 centimetres. Each one evokes a time, an experience that is now part of you. Rhodium-plated brass cubes hold and release the strands, marking the passages with discretion.
The rubber, soft and resilient, adapts naturally to the body, allowing the layers to move: 65 grams of soft volume on the neck. The rhodium-plated brass cubes add structure and points of light, keeping the design coherent while remaining protected from oxidation. The resin magnetic clasp fastens in a single gesture.

Rubber
Soft and light, with shape memory: with a little care it stays as it was on the first day.
- How to wear it. Keep it away from alcohol, acetone and solvents, and from strong heat. Many hours of direct sun will dull the colour over time.
- How to clean it. A cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a drop of neutral soap, then dry it straight away. If it looks dull over time, it is the skin's natural oils: wipe it with a degreaser, then dry it with a soft cloth.
- How to store it. Lay it flat or loosely coiled, never tightly folded, away from radiators and sunny windows.
Rhodium-plated brass
A thin layer of rhodium protects the brass and keeps it bright: clean it only when dry.
- How to wear it. Perfume, sweat, chlorine and sea water wear away the rhodium plating: put it on after perfume and take it off before the pool, the sea and the gym.
- How to clean it. A soft, dry cloth, ideally microfibre. No silver cleaners, polishing pastes or sponges: they remove the rhodium plating.
- How to store it. In its box, away from other jewellery: metals scratch each other.
For all jewellery
- How to wear it. Put it on last, after creams, perfume and hairspray. Take it off before showering, swimming in the sea or pool, exercising and going to bed.
- How to clean it. When you take it off, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth: a few seconds are enough.
- How to store it. Keep it in its box, in a dry drawer, away from your other jewellery. The bathroom, with its steam, is the least suitable place.

Every piece is born when you order it. In our atelier in Padua we prepare the components, assemble them by hand one by one and check every detail, from the clasp to the packaging.
